Whether you are isolating alone or with your family we thought it would be worthwhile to take a moment and be grateful for the benefits of working from home;
1. Being able to wear your comfy trousers to work, whether that is joggers or just any trousers with an elasticated waist band.
2. Having a short commute to work, normally from your bed to your desk or wherever you have set up your workstation, in my case the dining room table as him indoors had already called ‘shotgun’ on our only desk.
3. Having time to exercise, a walk round the block, a run before going to your desk or 25 sun salutations before your first zoom meeting of the day, whatever your poison you now have no excuse.
4. Not spending ridiculous amounts of money on high calorie low benefit food from whatever was available on your high street.
5. Having your morning coffee in your garden, or on your balcony or just sitting in the kitchen before the rugrats awake and being smug about the fact it didn’t cost you nearly a fiver!
No matter how difficult you find things know this to shall pass and just take this time to pause and reset and be grateful for those little things in life.
